Support Services

Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center offers a range of support to help manage the psychosocial impact of coping with cancer through individual and family counseling, community resource information, and referral and assistance with financial concerns. Social work services are also available for bereavement support.

Our complementary therapies include:

  • Lymphedema Services
  • Massage Therapy
  • Nutritional Counseling
  • Reiki Therapy (gentle hand placement on a fully clothed body, which assists in rebalancing the body's energy and promoting healing)
  • Wig Bank

Our support groups include:

  • Patient and Family Workshops – offered throughout the year on a variety of topics
  • Man to Man – a program for prostate cancer patients (sponsored by the American Cancer Society)
  • Look Good, Feel Better – a program for women undergoing treatment that provides ideas and support for managing hair and make-up (sponsored by the American Cancer Society)
